WHAT: will be marking the soft opening of the Old Bridge Golf Club at Rose-Lambertson [“The Rose”], a newly developed Par-71, 18-hole public golf course, with the first swings and putts at the driving range, putting green and miniature golf course, respectively

WHY: The opening of “The Rose” marks the realization of a 17+ year vision to bring a modern-day, championship-caliber municipal golf course to the township. This milestone was achieved through the successful private developer / public official partnership between Mayor Henry; 2020 Acquisitions, developer of nearby Central 9 Logistics Park; and Old Bridge Township Council officials.

SIGNIFICANCE: The soft grand opening of Old Bridge Golf Club at Rose-Lambertson [The Rose] marks the delivery of New Jersey’s first public golf course in 25 years. Designed by New Jersey’s Stephen Kay, of Kay Golf Course Design based in Egg Harbor City, The Rose is an all-new Par-71, 18-hole municipal golf course that includes a 6,000-SF clubhouse, driving range and miniature golf. Constructed on Old Bridge Township property, all planning, development, construction and management of the course is being performed by 2020 Acquisitions, which is funding the $15+M community project at no cost to taxpayers
