Morristown/Saddle Brook, N.J.WithumSmith+Brown (Withum) PC’s Matt Basilo, senior marketing coordinator, is well on his way to achieving his goal of raising $50,000 on behalf of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s New Jersey Chapter as part of its annual Man of the Year honor. The Saddle Brook, N.J., resident is at the midway point of a spirited 10-week fundraising period in which candidates across the country compete to raise the most funds earmarked to combat blood cancer. The campaign ends on Tuesday, June 13.

“Since I’m being judged solely on fundraising success, each dollar counts as a vote and, most importantly, honors a local child who is a blood cancer survivor. My fundraising is a way to pay tribute to their bravery while offering other youngsters and their families health and hope,” said Basilo, who is based in Withum’s Morristown office.
