Parsippany, NJ [December 10, 2024] – At Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey  (RRNNJ), there is a belief that true success lies not just in business achievements but in making a positive impact on the community throughout the year. By giving back and addressing greater community needs through local-organization partnerships, such as its current toy-drive effort on behalf of the Jersey Battered Women’s Shelter (JBWS), RRNNJ strives to have a lasting impact on the communities in which it does business.

“Volunteering is a powerful means of helping others,” said Linda Julien, RRNNJ’s office manager, who is spearheading the annual toy drive for the seventh year. “Through the gift of our time, generosity and energy, we can make a tangible impact – immediate and long term – on our community.”

In cooperation with TeamPAR, a New Jersey-based flooring-solution company, RRNNJ is conducting a gift drive that enlists participation from businesses located within its entire office building. Donors may drop off items in the lobby at 299 Cherry Hill Road, Parsippany or “Shop & Ship” through the online wish list. Following the final collection date of December 10 and delivery to JBWS, mothers and grandparents are invited to “shop” for gifts to present to their children during the holidays.

“By supporting local causes and investing in the future of our communities where our team members as well as landlords, tenants and investors reside and work, Resource Realty aims to create a lasting legacy of positive change,” said Tom Consiglio, RRNNJ founder and principal. “There is no doubt our success has – and continues to be – intertwined with the success of our community. At Resource Realty, we have always felt social responsibility is not only admirable, it is essential.”

With a focus on the New Jersey commercial real estate landscape, Resource Realty pays it forward in support of the communities that have contributed to its growth over the course of nearly 35 years. One of the most-closely aligned community-focused organizations tied to commercial real estate is United Way of Northern New Jersey, where Principal Scott Peck has been an active member of the Real Estate Committee for over 25 years.

Formed in 1999, the United Way Commercial Real Estate Committee is a joint initiative with the commercial real estate industry. Comprised of committed volunteers from local corporations and firms, members are making a lasting difference across North Jersey communities. Since its inception, the committee has raised more than $4.5 million in support of families, individuals and nonprofit partners.

“Through our involvement, we contribute to vital community programs that address critical social issues such as poverty, homelessness and education,” said Peck, RRNNJ’s principal who sits on the committee. “The primary goal of our committee is to help regional area families that are vital to our community and are employed but struggling.  These workers include first responders, healthcare, daycare providers and others.  The funds raised from our annual CRE Impact Award benefit these families.  In addition, our CRE group participates in local improvement projects to help these families with their homes, and/or facilities such as day care.”

Through industry affiliations, RRNNJ is an active supporter of outreach initiatives spearheaded by SIOR, IOREBA, National Association of Realtors, Morris County Chamber of Commerce and CREWNJ (Commercial Real Estate Women Inc. New Jersey). These affiliations allow the firm to connect with other industry professionals and collaborate on community-oriented projects that advance sustainable development, local economic development, fundraising support and mentorship programs.

Based in Morris County, N.J., Resource Realty provides commercial real estate solutions delivered with the personalized attention and autonomy of a boutique firm. Custom services include sales and leasing, landlord and tenant representation, corporate advisory and consulting, and investment property acquisitions.
