Registration “Village” features local businesses and community groups
BLOOMFIELD, NJ [September 29, 2026] – With race-day for the inaugural Hope Hustle 5K Run/Walk this Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Brookdale Park, the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF) is being supported by a full initial lineup of corporate and community sponsors. The foundation also has created a registration “village” for local businesses and community groups seeking to connect with participants and/or distribute product samples.
Leading the corporate roster as the official Mission Sponsor is Valley National Bank, joined by Babco as the Premier Sponsor. Rounding out the corporate-level support are Champion Sponsors RWJBarnabas Health / Clara Maass Medical Center, Value Companies and FitLoft and Community Sponsors Local Dog, SHAG86 and The Vestry as well as SAX Advisory Group as the Hope Sponsor.
“We are deeply grateful to our sponsors who stepped up immediately to champion this event,” said Laela Perkins, executive director of the Cure Breast Cancer Foundation. “Their generosity ensures that our first-year race has everything needed to make this day a success and the proceeds from participant registrations can go directly where they belong – into the hands of researchers working toward a cure. As we prepare to welcome hundreds of runners, walkers and families to Brookdale Park, we are inviting additional community partners to join us in making race morning a truly memorable experience.”
The Hope Hustle 5K offers a picturesque inner-loop course through historic Brookdale Park in Bloomfield, NJ, with the inner loop start adjacent to the softball fields. The event concludes near the playground. This Saturday’s race start time is 8:30 a.m. at the park, located at 473 Watchung Ave., in Bloomfield, NJ. Registration is $35 for adults, $15 for youth participants (ages 6–12) and free for kids 5 and under. While advance registration is recommended, same-day registrants are welcome.
Businesses interested in becoming a sponsor or hosting a registration village table are encouraged to contact CBCF directly at info@curebreastcancerfoundation.org or call (973) 471-2223.
