Parsippany, NJ, – Leading New Jersey business publication NJBIZ has named Resource Realty of Northern New Jersey (Resource Realty) a 2024 Leader in Real Estate, Construction and Design. Recognized in the company category, Resource Realty has been acknowledged for its transaction achievements and expansion into new submarkets throughout the Hudson Valley Region. Representing the firm at the event are (left to right) Principals Greg Sabato, SIOR and Scott Peck, SIOR; Linda Julien, office manager; and Principals Tom Consiglio, SIOR and Brian Wilson, SIOR.

“Utilizing our localized-expertise edge as a springboard, Resource Realty has been having an impact on the Northern New Jersey – in addition to the Rockland and Orange County, NY submarkets – for nearly 35 years,” said Principal Tom Consiglio, SIOR, who founded the North Jersey branch in 1990. “We are extremely grateful to have earned this outstanding recognition and be in the good company of our fellow honorees, many of whom have collaborated with us over the years.”

Resource Realty offers clients a localized-expertise edge for all of their commercial real estate needs. The firm also has cast a wider net into New York State’s Rockland and Orange counties.

Among the notable transactions that garnered Resource Realty this recognition is a series of transactions involving one of New Jersey’s premier warehouse assemblages – Ridgedale Industrial Park, a 1.2MSF logistics hub in East Hanover, N.J.

The firm represented Urban Edge in a series of transactions – two acquisitions and one disposition to achieve a 100% lease up – at the park to strengthen the existing collection of properties. In total, Resource Realty arranged seven new leases totaling 546,000SF with a $38.9M value and spearheaded the expansion of the campus’ footprint.

Resource Realty’s strategy underscored the building collection’s future sustainability by linking its prime location to the region and state’s multi-modal transit options vital to the movement of goods. In addition to shaping the repositioning plan and engineering the park’s expansion, Resource Realty assisted in the sale of the park by Urban Edge to a large institutional investment entity, on behalf of whom the firm continues to serve as the exclusive leasing agent.

Since its inception in 2020, the NJBIZ Leaders in Real Estate, Construction, and Design Awards has been honoring companies and individuals that impact New Jersey’s real estate sector through brokerage services, development, design, construction and project management as well as other specialty areas. Nominations for the award were submitted through an open process and then evaluated by an independent panel of judges to determine the list of 2024 honorees.
