Firm earns national recognition for deep understanding of the Northern NJ/Southern NY State Market

PARSIPPANY, NJ [August 21, 2025]Resource Realty of Northern NJ (RRNNJ) has been recognized as a 2025 Influencer: Industrial Real Estate by GlobeSt.com/Real Estate Forum, a leading digital and print news platform focusing on the commercial real estate sector. This firm-category acknowledgment solidifies RRNNJ’s standing as a leading specialist in industrial property sales and leasing activities as well as its impact on shaping the warehousing, logistics and industrial-use sector. The firm is marking its 35th anniversary this year.

An annual series, Influencers in Industrial Real Estate spotlights individuals, organizations and teams that have shaped the industrial real estate market through their contributions, successful transactions and innovative business practices. RRNNJ’s inclusion underscores its strategic vision, deep market expertise and unwavering commitment to client success.

“We are incredibly honored to be recognized by ALM’s sister publications as one it its 2025 Industrial Influencers in the firm grouping,” said RRNNJ Founding Principal Tom Consiglio. “This award is a testament to the hard work, dedication and collaborative spirit of our entire team and the valuable role our SIOR membership plays in our continued success. It reflects our 35-year legacy of anticipating opportunities, shaping business practices and steering investment mindsets in the region’s thriving industrial sector, where there has been enduring demand.”

For over three decades, RRNNJ has carved a unique niche, evolving into a true commercial real estate trailblazer. The firm’s influence stems from its deep understanding of the Northern New Jersey/Southern New York State market, a vital extension of the Northeast Corridor. RRNNJ’s brokers leverage their extensive knowledge of zoning regulations, infrastructure capabilities, logistical advantages and key economic drivers of industrial demand to guide clients toward strategic locations that optimize their operations.

By identifying underutilized and strategically advantageous properties, RRNNJ plays a crucial role in the revitalization of industrial zones and the transformation of developable land – both of which facilitate the creation of functional ecosystems that significantly contribute to the local economy.

RRNNJ’s focus also extends to industry practices. Their commitment to in-depth market analysis and data-driven decision-making sets a benchmark for professionalism and strategic brokerage services. By providing clients with insightful analytics, brokerage professionals create the foundation for a more informed approach to industrial real estate transactions, ultimately elevating the overall quality of service within the sector.

The firm’s proactive approach to identifying emerging trends, such as the demand for last-mile distribution centers and sustainable warehousing solutions, also positions them as prominent thought leaders and trusted advisors.

Based in Morris County, N.J., RRNNJ was acknowledged for finalizing nearly 300 transactions from 2022-2024, with a total value exceeding $500 million. Noteworthy accomplishments include:

  • At the premier warehouse assemblage Ridgedale Industrial Park (1.2 MSF), RRNNJ represented Urban Edge in two acquisitions totaling 275,000 SF, strengthening and expanding the existing collection of properties. The firm also engineered the park’s expansion and helped secure seven new leases totaling 546,000 SF. Additionally, RRNNJ assisted Morgan Stanley in its acquisition of the park and serves as its current leasing agent.
  • Two land-site acquisitions in Montgomery and Newburgh, NY, on behalf of Brookfield Properties, totaling over 100 acres. These sites are currently under construction for two buildings totaling 725,000 SF, with RRNNJ serving as the exclusive leasing agents. The first property (312,000 SF) was fully leased before completion.
  • Securing two additional shovel-ready industrial property owner’s rep assignments in Orange County, NY, bringing the firm’s total in the region to over 1.2 MSF.

RRNNJ’s raised profile also resulted in several other recognitions earlier this year. These include being named a Best of Giving Back Company and Best Place to Work (2024); 2024 Leader in Real Estate, Construction & Design; SIOR Top-50 Industrial Leases nationally for 2024 and 2025 ICON in Business.
